  • (01:00) Cliff gives his four tips of for requesting client testimonials:
    1. Don't ask for a testimonial unless you have provided value
    2. Ask for the testimonial immediately after using your service/product
    3. Make it easy for them to provide the testimonial
    4. Give a reward or discount for customers that provide testimonials
  • (05:45) One listener asks how they can rethink a company photoshoot in the days of COVID-19. Cliff suggest two options if you want to avoid gatherings. Option one is to repurpose the photos you have using services like Canva or Adobe Spark to reinvent and stretch what you have at hand. The second option is using free stock photos or visuals with services like Pexels, Black Illustrations, Unsplash, and Pixabay. If you do choose to do something COVID-safe, Cliff says to make sure you're working with Black & POC creatives when you assembly your team.

As education migrates to online, see what works for your competitors and adapt by doubling down on what's successful. Encourage students to leave testimonials that sell the program for you. Focus on your promise of education and job security by showcasing the jobs that your graduates have landed.
